Are crooked teeth a turn off?

My teeth on the top of my mouth are slanted to the right a little bit, because one of my teeth never came in. The missing tooth isn't noticeable unless you sit there and count my teeth, but the slant is, along with slight gaps between them. I don't have any snaggle teeth or a crossbite, they're just crooked. I keep them clean and white and everything, but I hate smiling in pictures. I think I'm actually kind of pretty, and have pretty great eyes, but just not when I smile. what do you think?
