How should I wear my eye makeup for a wedding?

I usually wear (lots of ! ) black eye liner, mascara and pale foundation with neutral eye shadow but I'm thinking all the eye liner would be too much for a nice sunny wedding? What colour eye shadow could I wear? I have moss green eyes.
