Muslims, We are constantly told not to confuse you with extremists. But do your imams condemn extremists?

What does the ordinary imam have to say about extremists like Osama bin Laden? I was told that the imam who wanted a mosque at Ground Zero refused to condemn bin Laden? Can you give me a youtube link or anything showing imams around the world condemning Jihad towards the U.S. and other Western countries? I have never seen this on the news, but probably I missed it. Has your imam publicly called on Hamas and Hezbollah and AlQaida to cease their blood bath to infidels worldwide?
