Offensive Jihad and defensive Jihad, Muslims on the western world?

Muhammad in the Koran is practice many different type Jihad. When oppressed is practiced defensive Jihad and when is expansion for Muslim faith the Jihad is offensive. Muslim brothers do you believe today Jihad is defensive for the fight of oppressors or is it offensive for the help of Islam and to spread it's good name?
